Hydrant flushing begins 6 October
Crews will flush hydrants across the city over three weeks. Expect brief discolouration.
Annual hydrant flushing keeps the distribution system clear and lets us check that every hydrant is working. Crews work weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
You may notice brief discolouration or a drop in pressure while crews are on your street. Run cold taps until the water clears before doing laundry.
