Kestrel Park playground reopens
The rebuilt playground has an accessible surface, a ramped structure and an accessible swing bay.
The Kestrel Park playground reopened on Saturday after a four-month rebuild funded by a state open space grant.
The new layout replaces wood chips with a poured-rubber surface, so a wheelchair or walker can reach every piece of equipment. A ramped play structure and an accessible swing bay were added at the request of the Parks Board.
